Brighton Block

Situated in the heart of downtown Edmonton and perched above the river valley, this venue combines modern design with historic character. The building, constructed in 1912 originally as a photography and art studio, is recognized as one of Edmonton’s cherished historic landmarks with a legacy of hosting artists, innovators, and community gatherings for over a century. The venue offers a flexible, open-concept reception hall with contemporary finishes and heritage architecture, providing a bright and welcoming atmosphere that balances heritage details with modern updates. The main event space, Brighton Hall, covers 451 m² and can accommodate up to 441 guests in theater style or 270 for cocktail receptions. An additional south-facing balcony of 82 m² is available for smaller cocktail events with a capacity of 60 guests. The venue includes a built-in bar area and dimmable lighting, with natural daylight enhancing the spaces. Event services include catering options supported by a dedicated food plating area. Amenities such as Wi-Fi, elevator access, and terrace space are provided to support event logistics and guest comfort.
